I’ve only used this trimmer dry so far, so I can’t speak to how well it performs when used wet yet. Even though it’s advertised for wet or dry use, I’ve been a little nervous to actually take an electric trimmer into the shower. 😂 Based on my experience with it so far, though, I’m really happy with it.It’s comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver, which is especially important when you’re using it around areas where you definitely don’t want to accidentally nick yourself. The blade has worked well for me and trims efficiently without feeling overly aggressive against the skin.One feature I initially didn’t think much about was the built-in light, but it’s actually really helpful! It makes it much easier to see exactly where you’re trimming, especially in areas where bathroom lighting doesn’t reach particularly well. It seemed a little gimmicky at first, but after actually using it, I understand why they included it.I also appreciate that it’s rechargeable instead of requiring disposable batteries. This is a really nice trimmer that is fairly quiet. You shouldn't have any issues with nicks or cuts as long as you follow the instructions of ensuring skin is taught. This will obviously not get as close as a razor but it's great for maintaining a very close cut or trimming your hair down before going over with an actual razor. It holds a charge for a good amount of time and the light is super helpful for seeing how close of a cut you're getting and making sure you don't miss any spots.
